Welcome

 I live and work in the beautiful countryside of north Suffolk. Having worked in the NHS as a health professional for more than thirty years, I began to feel that it was time to do something creative for me. I do still work part-time, but my work as an artist has become increasingly important to me.  

 My paintings are mostly in oils, but I also use acrylics, pastels and mixed media. I like to work with paint in a loose and colourful way as I try to catch the feel of an image. This can lead to the work becoming almost entirely abstract, or it may turn out to be an impression of the subject.  

 I have cards of some of my paintings.
